In order to give credit to the importance of the role of the human capital manager within the organisations and to praise the performance of its task, APG has decided to reward each year the professionals and the companies. This is a way to recognize the best on people’s management and development area in Portugal.
These are the "APG’s Human Resources Awards”, divided into 3 categories: "APG’s Individual Award", "APG’s Organisation Award" and "APG’s Honorary Award".
You can refer here to the Awards Regulation (available only in Portuguese), and you should also fill in one of the application cards: Individual or Organisation (also only in Portuguese).
The application proposals for the "Individual" and "Organisation" awards should be delivered at APG’s National Headquarters, in Lisbon, until october, 15 of each year and the awards are given during APG’s National Conference.
The "Honorary" award is designated by the jury and is intended to reward the person who has complied with recognized success, a career in management and development of people.
In 2016, APG has decided not assign any award.
The winners of the 2015 edition of the "APG's Human Resources Awards" were announced during a cocktail held on november, 25 at Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, during the 48th APG National Conference held at the same place, in Lisbon.
The award for the category "Honorary" (or career), has distinguished the former APG President died last February, Luís Bento, while the winner in the category "Organisation" was REN - Redes Energéticas Nacionais, represented at the ceremony by its HR Director, Elsa Carvalho.
In 2015, the jury decided not to award the prize "Individual" because they were not received enough candidancies so that the jury made a decision in conscience.
The winners are selected by a jury, in accordance with the awards Regulation from the nominees, notably by members of APG.
To participate in the 2016 edition, simply fill out the application which is on this page indicating who, in your oppinion, deserves the award. All suggestions should be sent by October, 15 each year.
